	Waiting Room We provide a selection of recommended lifestage diets and prescription diets . There have been many advances in animal nutrition in recent years. We stock a wide range of prescription diets for the tratment of a variety of clinical conditions. Our trained staff can guide you through the maze of pet foods available.
	Consulting Room Each of our consuting rooms has computerised records, which are linked to all our branches, enabling clients to be seen at any of our branches with access to their full medical history. This is particularly helpful in cases of emergency visits when you may visit one of our out of hours surgeries.
	Imaging room Our x-ray unit is fully equipped to provide sameday results for a wide range of procedures, including barium studies of the stomach and intestines and special radiographic techniques (myelography) for spinal problems such as disc protrusions. We have the latest digital xray system which produces reliable high quality images. Ultrasound has become an essential diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine. We have an advanced ultrasound unit (Doppler), which enables more accurate investigation of heart problems by assessing the blood flow. We can also look at the structure of liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder and other internal organs, and perform ultrasound preganancy diagnosis and monitoring. Fibre-optic Endoscopy allows us to see inside a patient, for example into the lungs or stomach, and takes samples or biopsies for diagnosis, without resorting to major surgery. We are also able to use key- hole surgery to look into joints (arthroscopy).
	Operating Theatre Our fully equipped sterile operating theatre contains a wide range of surgical instruments and equipment that is constantly being updated, enabling us to carry out many life saving operations on the spot. Specialist surgical facilities include spinal surgery for slipped discs, fracture repair surgery with bone plates (ASIF), chest surgery using a ventilator to breath for the animal, enabling us to perform surgery of the lungs and heart.
Laboratory We are able to process most blood samples for same day results. This is invaluable in critical cases and for pre- anaesthetic screening.
	Kennels We have modern stainless steel kennels, in two purpose built heated wards in a range of sizes to suit all our patients. Our patients are bedded on soft and warm vet-beds. This allows us to provide safe, comfortable and comprehensive in-patient care. Facilities are available for the intensive care of in-patients including blood transfusions and intravenous fluid therapy, sometimes needed for the emergency treatment of heart failure or road accidents.
