Imaging Room
Our x-ray unit is fully equipped to provide same day results for a wide range of procedures, including barium studies of the stomach and intestines and special radiographic techniques (myelography) for spinal problems such as disc protrusions.
Ultrasound has become an essential diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine. We have an advanced ultrasound unit (Doppler), which enables more accurate investigation of heart problems by assessing blood flow. We can also look at the structure of the liver, kidneys, spleen, bladder and other internal organs and perform ultrasound pregnancy diagnosis and monitoring.
Fibre-optic endoscopy allows us to see inside a patient, for example into the lungs or stomach and takes samples or biopsies for diagnosis, without resorting to major surgery. |
